How to Organize Your Post Office
Organize your Cat Mail Co post office with dedicated zones for incoming mail, processing, transit, local delivery, and night packages.
Why Organization Matters
In Cat Mail Co, organization is gameplay — not optional decoration. A cluttered post office slows every task as you search for misplaced parcels, accidentally stack fragile items, and lose track of destination batches. Dedicated zones transform chaotic sorting into a calm, efficient rhythm that the game rewards economically.
The game has no timers, but poor organization creates self-imposed pressure as parcel volume grows. Establish zones early before the backlog overwhelms your available space.
Recommended Zone Layout
Create five dedicated areas:
- Incoming Mail: Fresh deliveries from the boat land here first.
- Processing Station: Scale, stamp desk, and scanner in one tight cluster.
- Local Deliveries: Cat's Island resident packages ready for short delivery.
- Transit Mail: Outgoing parcels sorted by destination (Port Windy, Sunny Shores).
- Night Mail: Suspicious packages set aside for moonlight investigation.
After unlocking the Summer Room, add a dedicated Sunny Shores shelf on the right side of your processing area as recommended in our Map guide.

Ongoing Maintenance
Clean continuously instead of letting clutter accumulate. Keep at least one empty shelf space at all times. In co-op, assign the Organizer role specifically to maintenance duty. Expand storage through progression upgrades before you need the space, not after you are already overwhelmed.
